Well, AP tests are just around the corner (not to bar the SATs next week), and I'm freaking out.
Here's the run down:

Physics C mechanics--It was over last term, and therefore, recalling all that stuff for the AP test is going to be a pain in the rear.

Physics C E/M--If there is a devil, I'm sure he takes the form of an electrophysicist. This is probably, save Spanish, my least favorite class I've ever taken. I should also mention that I'm BARELY teetering on an A-.

APUSH-Not so bad, I'm pretty decent at FRQs/DBQ. I'm sure It'll save my grade.

Java Comp Sci--Everyone else seems to excel in this class, but I just don't get it. I doubt I'll score above a four; ruining my previous streak.

Calc BC--Pretty easy thus far, but still a pain to work out; I'm pretty careless at math in general.

Last year's Bio/Chem was quite a bit easier, but what the hey, it's junior year.

So that's my painful AP experience thus far. Any you'd care to share?

Erm... Right, here's my list...

Physics B -- ...argh.
Physics C Mech -- is gonna suck
Physics C E/M -- haven't even started learning yet
English Lit & Comp -- 's gonna be painful
Chemistry -- ...now that I think of it, apparently the only one I'm really confident in
Calculus BC -- Independent Study... I'm being a lazy bum and haven't started! O_o That's absolutely terrible...

...

Wow. I didn't even notice how terrible my AP tests are gonna be. Kill me now. O_o

hmmm, when i was graduating high school, the only ap tests available to me were calculus, english, history and chemistry. i only took calculus and english, and we were the last class *ever* to take the calculus ap test without calculators... it sucks feeling old sometimes

Don't let the AP tests spook you. Yes, they will be a challenge, but a challenge that your teachers will have prepared you for. Consider the benefits for scoring well...possible college credit at the college or university you choose to attend.

I must admit that I never took any AP classes, but my youngest daughter did, and received almost a years worth of college credit for the tests she took. Hang in there and start reviewing now for the tests.

When I was in high school, I saved all my AP tests for senior year...

Spanish Language (4)
English Lit (3)
2D Art Portfolio (2)

The portfolio was the most work. English Lit required the most concentration... Spanish... well, Spanish is NOT my native language, but I was better at it than my teacher (that woman was not a good Spanish teacher)... so yeah, I got a 4 pretty easily... And that's the only one they gave me credit for here. (three semesters' worth)

I decided to get all of my AP's out of the way last year.

AP Bio (5): I liked this one. Nice and easy.

AP Language and Comp (4): Not too bad. I honestly thought I would get a 1 or a 2 on it.

AP European History (3): I learned to love DBQs, and I learned to hate normal essays that actually require you to have previous knowledge.

I was just coming off the SATs, so, to be honest, I didn't prepare for these as much as I probably should have.

And, yes, I was a slacker this year and didn't take any, although in hindsight I probably should have taken AP Chem. I don't have a science this year (frankly, I don't count physics course I'm in as one . It's way too easy) and most of my classes are really boring.

umm...lets see

I'm a high school sophomore and this year I have:

AP Bio

Bio regents

Spanish regents

Math B regents

Global I&II regents

And yeah I think that's it, not counting regular finals and stuff. Thats everything standardized or whatever.

*cant wait for college*

What does AP mean? Can someone explain this to an Aussie who has no idea what ya'll are talkin' bout!

Here, we just choose subjects to do for our final year and they go towards our HSC (Higher School Certificate).

My subjects are as follows... any Aussies doing similar subjects?

Advanced English
General Maths (hate this one)
Bio
Geography
Studies of Religion
Photography
Legal Studies
Society and Culture (will probably drop this one)

*Is a silly little sophomore* I've only got one AP class this year. AP Euro! I'm so nervous about the test. I can never get above a 6 on my DBQs and FRQs. Except for ONE seven. I also am only taking one AP class next year. And its not AP USH! Its psychology. And Senior year, I'm shooting for US Comparative Government.

Some of you seem to have AP computer classes though!
So very lucky. No such luck here for a computer nerd such as I.
