ahh, but cali, that's where you're wrong!! Shimano's Di2 is an automatic derailleur, and shifts gears via an electric motor It's been around since about 2001. Why don't you have one yet?

Babel, they get better mileage if you know how to drive them.

By the way, Manuel is a guy that works at Chik-fil-a, not a type of transmission

I can drive both but since I drive mostly in the city I am more comfortable with automatic.

MANUAL!

No other way, you simply cannot get the control (accelleration )you need driving an auto, plus your brain goes to sleep

And if you go on an Auto, you CANNOT drive a manual, whereas if you go an a manual, you CAN drive an auto.
Definately go manual.

Am able to drive both pretty comfortably, but my Camry is an automatic for the sake of simplicity during the 3+ hours I drive every day.

i have had a manual ever since i started driving. there is absolutely no other way to be. plus if you want to get a good tire screech going, it's way easier if you have a manual than an auto

With our age group at school finally getting our licenses, the age old debate of automatic or manuel gears has sprung to life among my friends.

So, do you drive an automatic or manuel car??

STANDARD!!!

well, I drive 1.5 hrs to work and usually 2-2.5 hrs from work each day, and standard is the way to go:%)of course when i get out my left leg is cramping, but oh wellthe rest of me is cramping as well:%) I feel a little bit more in control in my truck, than automaticand when I drive Leslie's carI'm always trying to hit the clutch and shift gearsit just becomes habit

That, and I know from experience too recent of experiences if the vehicle stalls for whatever reason in the middle of the highway, it's easy enough (once you have the reflexes) to get out of gear, hitting the hazard lights, and getting over, to coast to the "Oh No, Now What Lane:#(" versus automatic, if it dies, it dies...

Oh and if you kill the battery on a standard/stick shiftget a push start, pop the clutch and you can jump start the battery (not that i've ever had to do this)

I currently drive a manual (well... technically a auto since my car is in the shop ]:|]:|]:|) But i prefer a automatic. Less to think about when driving... and a FREE HAND!!! And I have stop and go traffic, up and down hills, stops at the top of steep hills and people who ride butts like you are towing them. I'd prefer a auto...

AND HOW ARE MANUALS FUN!!!!

you would have a much easier time with those hills and such with a manual than you would with your auto there racso and they're more fun cause you are in complete control of your vehicle. ]

Much more fun You can tell the car exactly what you want it to do and force it to comply
