I would have to agree, though, that HL2 is one of the, if not the best game out in '04. I played it all of yesterday at a buddy's house, and I have to say, it really is a very well planned out, well designed game (GI2@FI><!!!!!, as quoted from LL). Others that get my vote are: Tles of Symphonia Paper Mario Mario Tennis Minish Cap Star Ocean (not so much, but fairly innovative)

Other than that, the rest of the game is pretty darn awesome, definitely nothing to shake a stick at.

San Andreas in my opinion is the best game in '04, there is so much to be done and there is more freedom in San Andreas than Halo2.

HALO 2 has a total of over 1.5 million copys pre-ordered. for those who played halo the best game of 02 (i think) it was a long TWO year wait but it is finally here.probaby the best game of 04 and 05

Won't say too much so that people can still play on. I liked the fine tuning done to the game with dual wielding and also the damage to the vehicles was a nice touch. I have not been able to try GTA so I can' comment there but for XBox FPS games, I'd say Halo 2 and Rainbow Six have their powerful points. You can't drive in Rainbow Six but you can't plant remote charges in Halo 2.
