Well, I stick by my guns that the game is called 'State of Origin'. Since I originated in NSW, I have to support the Blues.

BF was also born in NSW, but he goes by the '15 year rule', as in he has lived in Qld for more than 15 years, so he has to go for Maroons. I've lived here that long too, but still, I just go for the better team .

*Waits for Cavey to come and abuse me*

BTW, I do maintain loyalty to my city by supporting the Brisbane Lions in AFL, but I can't support the Broncos. Too many end up in the Maroon team.

Pitty about the ref tho.

Firstly I would have to say that the first tackle on Slater was over the horizontal for sure and shoudl of resulting in a penelty to QLD.

Secondly the try Mat Sing shoudl of scored. That should have been a penelty try for sure. Taken out jsut before he went for the ball. Thats just not on. Not fair at all.

If the game was fair it would have been much closer. Instead it was a Blues romp in.

Maybe next year then I guess.

Hey, there were a couple of bad calls against the Blues as well. But I think there's no denying that Qld's heart just wasn't in it this time.

Haven't seen a thrashing like that from the Blues for years! And now they are 1 point above Qld overall in Origin history!
