Diana Giboldan's Outlander novels Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series Tad Williams's Otherland trilogy Dean R Koonz Any of his books are great Stephen R Donaldson The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant (1,2 & last) So that's a start .. so many books to read so little time to read them! do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and go well with catsup! |

It kind of gets a little slow in the middle with all the details but, picks up again with a good ending. I am now reading "Everyone Worth Knowing" by Lauren Weisberger. It's a lot less involved which is much needed. (Still great if you are looking for a distraction!) Not very far into it yet though. "it's the neck, it creaks under the weight of too much heavy thinking." |

A couple of his later books (eg Monstrous Regiment) are a little weak but generally you can't go wrong with him. Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within. |

A few years ago I finished reading the entire fiction section at my library from A to Z (I literally went down the line and read every book), at a rate of about 3-4 books (~1000 pages) a day. It took about two years (not that huge of a library), but I did it. But I've run out of stuff to read other than magazines, blogs, forums, reference books/non-fiction, etc... Out of everything I've read, fiction-wise, at least, I enjoyed the 'classics' (other than Moby ! Bleh!) the most. 'Classics' are 'Classics' for a reason--they're good! Aside from the writers of 'Classics', Kurt Vonnegut and William Sleator are two of my favorite fiction authors. I'll have to give some of the authors and books listed in here a shot... there are bound to be some new ones... |

The coffee bit tends to get me giggling every time. Just finished rereading a David Eddings book, working on something I found at the library but haven't gotten into it much. ^_^ |
