I did a very brave thing last Sunday.
I put up my 95 gal. tank for sale
It's been standing there, empty, in the attic since I put my spanner barbs in with the tinfoils and I cannot think of anything I want to put in it. Not that I can't actually think of any fish, but there's just too much choice!
Apart from that, I can hardly find the time to clean my 152 gal.; let alone another one!

OH NO! you can't! Its not brave! you must be ill, sane people don't sell tanks!

Ahh well, use the money wisely buy a small all in one betta tank for your daughter Or maybe hampsters... OR I KNOW! buy me a chinchilla and post it over to me! YES! marvellous

For animals, the entire universe has been neatly divided into things to (a) mate with, (b) eat, (c) run away from, and (d) rocks. - Terry Pratchett

Hopefully someone who'll appreaciate it will buy it, considering you're having trouble keeping on top of the one you have you made the responsible decision...after all if it sits up there for too long the seals will crack and it won't be any good for anyone .

I wish I had the space for a decent sized tank .

maybe you could give it out on permanent loan to a Doctor's waiting room or a frientd. That way when you want it back you could get it back. Or you could just sell it. Yes, now I think of it probably better to sell it & be done with the hassle. Shame though. Hope you get a good price for it.

Thanks for the reactions guys;
I'll explane some more before y'all think I've gone bunkers

Since April I've got a new job (thank goodness) after having been unemployed for 6 months. It is a great job, which I like very much, but which also takes up a lot of time. Travelling to and from work takes an hour one way. On top of that, I work 9-10 hour days, just because I like the job so much (and there's always work to be done, I know ) So I think I'm better off spending the little leasure time I have on the 152 gal and my kids (in no praticular order ).

I'm still keeping a 15 gal. with a cracked bottom. I can always fix that and put it up with sword tails for my daughter. And if I ever do get rich, I'll just buy myself a better sized tank; over here 100*40*40cm tanks go for € 150-200,- second hand (I never bought a new tank in my life). The 95 gal. had awkward dimensions (too high for barbs )

So far, no one has responded to my add; maybe I'm asking too much (€ 300,- including hood, lights and stand; I'm keeping the filter and heater as spares)

So just to let you know I haven't completely lost my mind!
(But then again, crazy people never thing THEY are the crazy ones ...)

By the way; great new avatar, Oleta!
