Yes you can send checks....PM me for my addy. Just know that I will not cash them until every thing is done and I have to give her money. I don't want to cash them for obvious reasons.

Edit: Just to ease anyones thoughts. I get paid on the 14th and will at that time be able to drop 700 minus the cost of the truck I will need, and the gas to go get the tank. I only need a lil more to make it complete. Again we still do not know how much she wants for this stuff. I will keep you all posted.

I guess I am trying to think of Judy in this and what is going to be in her best interest in the long run. I am a realist.

I have 2 brothers who already have committed to going with me. We do not need help.

I will keep the guppies for anyone who wants them until they ask for them. I will not charge for boxes or heat packs. All you have to do is pay for the shipping, and if it is timed enough apart I will pay for shipping as a way of repaying the donation.

If I didn't have the support of my brothers then...good idea Tammy! But I got this......

Gary meant a lot to me! It is the least I can do and I want to do this!

oh dear. I would be able to send a check, but I'd have no room for guppies until this summer when I go home. I do have a spare 10 there. Plus I'd trust Gary's stock more than any guppies I could get at an LFS. My mom was practically begging me to get guppies... well I guess if there's still homes needed for them then (mid-June) I would definitely be willing to help out.

I seem to recall Gary mentioning a long time ago that he was a member of an aquarium club.

Perhaps there is a way to find out either through his wife or the local aquarium store that Gary frequented (again his wife) if there is an aquarium club in the Vero Beach area that may be able to help with his equipment/fish.

Shannen could be her "go to" guy helping to advise her. If nothing else this aquarium club that he was a member of could help move the tank(s) and equipment out of Judy's way. I would imagine that as hard as it would be for Judy to look at the tanks sitting there up and running, it would be doubley as hard having to see them sitting there empty for any length of time. What would be best if as soon as the tanks are broken down, they are moved out of the way. (Out of sight, out of mind kinda) It would be best to follow Judy's lead on this. She is the one that is suffering the most I would imagine. Just keep in mind that she is probably more than just alittle overwhelmed with everything at the moment. It is going to take more than one person (Shannen) to move Gary's equipment, an aquarium club (even if Gary was not a member of one) would certainly be willing to lend a hand for a fellow aquarist I am sure..

Perhaps the aquarium club could hold an auction. It would seem that Judy could use the money generated by selling everything according to what she told Frank.

Can we send checks? I only have a paypal credit card account, and it is telling me my alotted amount is almost up. I have no intentions of giving them my bank account info.

Yes they can be shipped this time of yr, and I would send some to all who donate.

I have all the supplies for shipping fish. (Betta breeding program)

err..Overseas will be difficult but I will look into it. It might need to wait until this summer tho. But knowing guppies the way I do, there will be plenty of babies to go around..

Seeing as he was breeding them intentionally probably alot.


I guess guppies can be shipped this time of the year? I was actualy considering some awhile back....hmmmmm

I think it's an excellent idea Di. I would be very happy for Shannen to take care of my one guppy and 1/50th of a tank for me until I can collect it. I know many of us would love to help if we were closer, so I would be very grateful to Shannen if he could represent us.
