Hi everyone…

There are matters beyond my control that are taking up a lot of my time and energy right now. Amid my group of “IRL” friends, one is really in a bad way. He tried to take his own life this summer, and is now hanging out with some guys who can only be described as “bad news”. We’re all trying to help him out, but he has made threats on my life, and other friends’ lives and certain parts of their anatomy . I’m afraid that this all is taking up a lot of my time and if I’m going to make it through this, and pass my classes this semester, I don’t think I can spend much time online. I’ll be back when and if this all sorts out. Please keep my friend in your thoughts and prayers. In the meantime, if you really have to contact me, use the email address in my profile. I’m more stressed out about this than anything has had me in a long time, so I do think it’s best that I keep away from the forums because I don’t know if I’ll just snap at anyone from it. Thanks for your time, it’s been good to be here. I don’t know if or when I’ll be back, so until then, goodbye.

PS, since I do have work every alternate weekend with nothing to do I will probably be in chat a lot when I'm at work... so you're not completely rid of me yet... And since I don't have my fishies here I don't think it'll effect my fish-keeping. =P I'll miss you, my fishy friends!

I would advice seeking police protection, and keep you cell phone handy in the event of an emergency. Advise you landlord (if you have one) and your closest neighbors to keep an eye out for you. This person could be a danger to himself and others and threats of any kind should be taken seriously.
