Okay, I've got a Kodak EasyShare CX6200..

I see a lot of people talking about the "flower power"/macro option on their cams.. and was wondering if anyone knew if my cam had that. I can't find it, if it does...

I lost the instructions long ago..

So if anyone has any info, lemme know!

Much appreciated.

Okay, double posting, I know. Bad me.

It wont let me post to ask ?'s unless I register.. I tried to register, but they won't let me do THAT unless I have an un-free email addy (ie: no hotmail/yahoo allowed).

So yeah.. I'm still stuck.

I even checked out the Kodak site.. and couldn't find the proper info, as I don't really know what to look for (i looked for 'macro' options, and couldn't find any).

>.< I keep forgetting that they have forums over there...em you should be able to find info on your camera on that site....I might have time in a bit to look it up for you...but sometimes macro's what's missing on the lower end consumer models.

Babel, it says my camera HAS macro, I believe.. hold on...

Macro focus range 50 cm

I'm assuming that means it has a macro option...

(thanks for all the help so far, btw)

well 50 cm is 19 inches...to me that's not macro...but if it focuses closer than standard mode then technically it is macro...just not very good.
Since the camera doesn't have a button to press....it's likely to be under one of the menu options. [link=This]http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/publications/urg00141toc.jhtml?pq-path=1603" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] should be the manual for your camera, althought it was taking too long for me....[link=here]http://www.kodak.com/eknec/PageQuerier.jhtml?pq-path=9/19/32/1055&pq-locale=en_US" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link] is kodak's page on your camra.

It is quite ironic, isn't it.

Anyhoo, I looked through those pages again (I had the first time I went to the site), I still can't find anything that means anything to me about macro.

Maybe it's the headcold talking... or maybe I'm just blind.
