I wouldnt wish a twisted or inflated gut on my worst enemy though. Poor fella. |

longhairedgit Fish Guru Lord of the Beasts Posts: 2502 Kudos: 1778 Votes: 29 Registered: 21-Aug-2005 | Unfortunately I expect that elephant will be dead now, if not treated almost immediately with chemical purging and surgery, an inflamed or twisted gut often adheres to its own tissue, scars and ruptures or becomes completely blocked. For an elephant that kind of treatment would probably come in at around $35,000, so im betting no-one could afford it. All because of extra sugar and animal fat. I hope he makes it though. |
