I actually saw that shark a couple weeks ago, and it was amazing. I'm not surprised it attacked the other shark though; they are probably very territorial.

And despite what that article says, the shark's nose is not raw from scraping against the sides of the tank. It swam a couple of feet in front of my face, and it looked perfectly healthy (no injuries whatsoever) and well-fed, and it never even touched the sides of the tank as it swam.

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Of course it killed them. Great Whites travel 10s of thousands of miles, that tank is HIS now.

Expecting tankmates to survive would be like expecting children to be safe

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions

I saw that shark recently too. There might have been a little scratch on the nose, but it certainly wasn't "rubbed raw".

It certainly is a beautiful fish.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

*wants to go, wants to go* Interesting that it killed two Soupfin Sharks but hasn't touched any of the tuna...hard for me to make a convincing argument that it was being predatory towards the sharks if the fish that present a meal to it aren't being touched...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

You obviously haven't seen the tuna . They are HUGE! and REALLY thick. They're perfectly torpedo shaped and streamlined, but are still really bloatedish looking overall. If that makes sense...

Besides, they have no reason to attack tuna. They are well-fed, I'm sure. The issue is territory, not hunger. Those soup-fins were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
