well, following on from my CS thread, i decided to do up this case for my little bro

What do you think?

Its going to have the Half-Life symbol on one side, and his username on the other.

I'm thinking maybe some flame-style motifs on the top and drive bay covers, but not sure yet.

For his birthday, we are getting one of those display units that fits in the drive bays and displays relevant info (# of kills maybe?) and a LED light mousepad thingy And maybe a window and a green/red tube

You need to adopt my motto: "It ain't custom if you don't cut." Hack the logo into the panel and backlight it with some neon.

I wish my big sister did cool stuff like that for me. All I've gotten is a brother-in-law.

I second that, you can get some great window kits, with the edging so you can have agreat looking, but not damaging window. Personally, I wouldnt put his username on it, it's "not the done thing" certainly at UK LANS. Sunbeamtech do some fantastic case badges, I wanted their Saddam Hussein badge for my other case, would have gone with the neo-industrial dystopia theme I was going for.

Definitely consider a window though, they make all cases look awesome

I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions
