I don't know which one it was, but Roger Moore and Christopher Walken were in it. I never got into the whole "spy genre"... It just seems dumb and my attention span is too short to sit through a whole movie. Unrealistic + not funny = waste of my time. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

I don't think it was all his fault that the series got a bit out of hand. I'm hoping the new one will be better, I haven't seen it yet. Critical Fertilator: The Micromanager of Macronutrients |

Also, for the record, I did find Borat as good as I'd hoped. Subsequently, Bond>>Borat. At least in this particular instance, as the movie was just that damn good. Brosnan was a better Bond than Moore, hands down. |

Part of that could be because some of his movies just weren't good overall. I haven't seen the new Bond yet, but I've read the book. |

His ability to portray the cool, calm collected nature of Bond makes him the quitessential spy man and has nothing to do with the fact that his movies bit. At least we agree that Lazenby rocks. |

moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002 | how can lazenby even compare? don't you need at least 3 movies as james bond to qualify for the running? oh, and casino royale was better than anything dalton did as bond. but timothy dalton had the unfortunate circumstance of being bond in the 80's AIDS scare and anti-drug paranoia. maybe he could have been a good james bond if they had stuck to the "formula", but as it was, he was hands down the worst james bond ever "That's the trouble with political jokes in this country... they get elected!" -- Dave Lippman |

With fewer movies, there is an inherently lower chance of doing poorly--Laz retains his high batting average, so to speak. Regardless, though; the one movie he WAS in was, IMO, the best of the series and he was perfect for the role. |
