Why wasn't one of the options tan or "same color as the background"?
That's my vote
Brandi
P.S. Burnt Siena is a reddish brown color isn't it?
Also, Joe you're always involved in the debates cause you are an argumentitive person , Hence the really dumb argument with Gomer

There's no way it is burnt sienna. Burnt sienna is more of a brown/burgundy/ochre mix. I would call that color goldenrod, yellow ochre, buttermilk, or something of that nature. It is not any of the choices listed above.

They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes,
They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver,
So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Umm... want me to pull out my crayons? Burnt sienna is way darker than that and runs more to a reddish orangeish brown. If anything, I'd throw my vote in with those calling it goldenrod. *runs to find her crayons*

Man, I hope you guys aren't artists That color is nowhere near any of those colors. For heaven's sake, it is obvious that this debate was started by a bunch of straight guys. That is a butter creme, or a watered down yellow ochre in water color. Even maize is more accurate. There is really not a red tint to that color to speak of, therefore no orange derivative can be used. Both burnt sienna and orange have a strong red cast to them. As for brown....well maybe tan, or as stated before, camel. Brown is your standard UPS van color, not that pastel thing you are showing. To be honest, to mix that color in water colors, I would use the primary yellow, then mix some purple, and a hint of brown (leaning to the side of an umber, maybe) into it, then water it down to where there is virtually no pigment in relation to the water. Both umber and purple are pretty strong to the BLUE side with a hint of red

Like a orange creamsicle ....looks like someone else is being forced to use mozilla

and for the record my "pink" is pink and not purple as some people seem to believe .

I would say it closest resembles #FFE696

I'm afraid I'd have to agree

And burnt sienna is no where near that color....every child knows that crayola rules color naming in fact they tried to take away burnt sienna the crayon called "where to buy" that points to the dateline on that article is burnt sienna.

I think I consistently refer to the above color as resembling the slightly acidic fluid excreted by mammals' kidneys, but unfortunately, such an answer was mistakenly left out of the possible choices in this poll. Since such a grievous error was made, no answer could possibly replace the missing name sufficiently...

...also...those answers never wandered in the general vicinity of a rational answer, and we are all now more pigmentally challenged for having given such answers consideration...

its really yellowy golden but I will say orange is closest. Burnt sienna is a brownish color with hints of red and ochre and mahogany. No way is it burnt sienna.

Babel hit the nail on the head. Go get an 'orange' cream cookie, and you will notice the cream is the same or very similar colour to the colour in question.

But then what colour it really is depends on your screen, I'm using a Mac flat panel.

Umm... want me to pull out my crayons? Burnt sienna is way darker than that and runs more to a reddish orangeish brown. If anything, I'd throw my vote in with those calling it goldenrod. *runs to find her crayons*

Why wasn't one of the options tan or "same color as the background"?
That's my vote

P.S. Burnt Siena is a reddish brown color isn't it?
Also, Joe you're always involved in the debates cause you are an argumentitive person , Hence the really dumb argument with Gomer
