Like the computer is sitting there on and not doing anything and every-now-and-then it will beep twice. I think it is coming from the motherboard. Nothing has been added or taken off of the system. I am just puzzled. It is about 3 years old - ASUS motherboard if that helps??? |

But when it is on it beeps 2 times. Not on a regular basis but regualar enough to tick you off with the sound! I took the ram out and put it back in and it seemed to help a little as it didn't beep after that for a little while and well I turn the power off from the wall over night last night and so just waiting too see if that helped. It hasn't beeped yet (fingers crossed) but the computer has only been on for about 10 minutes! Keep you all posted. Will try and look for the motherboard book to see what it is. The computer lives in Air-con so overheating isn't a problem. Will be asking the boss son this weekend to have a look at it as he made it for us. So hopefully it will be something simple. That is what I am thinking it is. The battery maybe. But who knows. |
