Kicked myself out of Photo Booth cause these aren't really aquarium pics. Or FW. eh, they can live here

These are from one of the 'beaches' where we went collecting. The sheer number of crabs is amazing, but when you spot how many different species there are too, wow!

Another 3. No idea what pink clawed thing is, maybe the behind of a fiddler?

I had to guess where this guy was as I couldn't see him when I took the shot. All these are on 11x optical as otherwise all I would have gotten were holes.

The place was also swarming with these things. They look like a cross between a prawn and a cockroach. Apparently they are 'doctors' that live in the fish's throat. They are quick, and you know how normally a crab will hit water and change speed and movement? these guys moved through water as if it didn't exist. They just ran at the same speed right on through, it was incredible!!

Dunno much about crabs, but they're cool shots.

Callatya, the last little guy is an isopod, closely related to your wood louse/pillbug/roly-poly (don't you love common names?). They are quite fast little bugs, at least our version here on our coast.

And a pic of the 'beach' itself Mangrove beach really, with added motor oil and industrial stink.

saltwater roly-poly! they look exactly like that! And they were incredibly fast, you should see all the shots of bare sand I ended up with. "Shhh! There's on..oh, its gone again" Still, at least I got some pics of them!

Very nice pics! and idk bout you guys but the roly polys round here are slow as heck!

The true test of character is not how much we know how to do, but how we behave when we dont know what to do.
