DanceDanceRevolution!

Okay...I'm a total and complete addict. I can admit it. That game goes on when I get home from school, and turns off after 10PM at night. Always. Me and my siblings rotate, one or two people play while the other one does hw. It's terrible...we're so addicted.

Any other DDR fans??? YOu're not alone...

...Wow. I play everyday, but not for that long...

Yeah, I'm addicted as well. I can play some Heavy songs really well, but some of them I suck at. Oh well.:%)

My friends sort of dragged me into it back when it was first introed in the US (a good 4 years ago). Now that I think about it, the whole thing seems rather silly. It's like Feel the Magic--just one of those games you can't be seen in public playing.

I love dance dance revolution. IN 1st year at uni we got my computer-geek friend a copy for his birthday, with the mat, and then we played all year. I'm only very reasonable at it. I prefer playing it in a arcade though, especially with my indie friends, when we beat the teenage mother girls who crowd around it at their own game.

for anyone who knows who peaches is, the musician,
(i dunno, maybe a parental warning for the link)

me and my friend penson had a game of DDR against her at the all tomorrow's parties music festival before christmas. It was my first celebrity experience. We utterly destroyed her, which considering she spends her whole career dancing lewdly was a bit of a disappointment. And she's shorter than you'd expect in real life.

I wonder if DR will ever get seqelised or updated and made more complicated. It would be good to have an editor so you could program in your own tracks and necessary moves. I would rather try and dance to teh faint, or peaches, than briteny spears, however 'ironic' or 'camp' the latter option is.

I can't see DDR making it so you can play on songs other than the ones that come with it... However, I'm looking into how it could be done on Stepmania (computer DDR simulator). Also, DDR has been given a new way to play through the EyeToy that allows you to move your arms; I don't have one of them, but I'm not sure I'd want to try it. And when you say sequalized, what do you mean? :%)
