What shows do you like enough to buy the box set?

I have Six Feet Under.

I borrowed the show in New York about the 4 gals dating... "Something and the City" ( can't write 1st word for obvious reasons).

... for me watching a tv ep is just enough to squeeze in while having dinner, before study/bed. (a movie is a bit long)

What box sets do you own? Movie? Tv shows?

Have:

Band of Brothers - insane. Just love it.

Complete Veronica Mars - yeah, yeah, go ahead and make fun. That show rocked.

Want:

Planet Earth - simply jawdropping

Complete Dead Like Me - perfectly fits my sense of humor

Complete Stargate SG-1 - go ahead and make fun again. This show, too, rocked.

Complete (once all are released) Spongebob Squarepants - best way to waste a Saturday

Survivorman - I could watch that all day. I have a man-crush on Les Stroud

John Adams - Just saw the first two episodes on HBO. Loved every minute.

Personally - Complete Monty Python's Flying Circus (which was also for my dad)

Also have Planet Earth Blu-ray and Complete Babylon 5 in the family (B5 is one of my favorite shows)

Current obsession is with Law and Order: SVU and maybe will get some seasons of it if I get this job I'm hoping for... Fun to finally have a show I enjoy that mom and dad aren't really into.

Six feet under was really well done, I never did see the end of it though...

We have:

Dexter, took me awhile to not get annoyed by Dexter every episode.

West Wing, Adam didn't believe me that a show about US politics could be well written and LOL funny.

And Adams making me watch the whole Top Gear series, it isn't that bad for a car show, and rather funny at times.

Stargate(s), King of the Hill,

oh, and Red Dwarf

Can't think what else atm, I'm tempted to ask for all the Law and Orders, as they're airing too late at night for me here (you know you're getting old when...)

^_^

West Wing
Sherlock Holmes (the BBC one I think)
Friends

I think we might also have a few Star Treks laying around but they aren't boxed. Apparently some people couldn't wait that long and just bought them individually.

Top Gear and Veronica Mars are ones I'd like to get, along with Chuck, Code Monkeys and Buffy.

Family Guy seasons 1 and 2
Futurama season 1
King of the Hill season 2
South Park seasons 1 through 4
MythBusters seasons 2 and 3
Kenny vs. Spenny Seasons 2 and 3
Planet Earth
Life of Mammals
Life in the Undergrowth
Blue Planet

...And I just ordered season 1 of Kenny vs. Spenny yesterday. This show is finally starting to become popular in the US, even though it's been on for several years in Canada.

I went to the taping of Friday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live because Kenny and Spenny were guests that day. It was the most awesome thing I've done in a long time; we got to sit right in the front row.

King of the Hill is an awesome show, though surprisingly unappreciated here in California. Probably because a lot of Californians don't like/understand Texas.

I don't mean "season 1".... I mean every episode of an entire series....
only possible for tv shows that have ended like
'Seinfeld',
'S and the City' or
'On the Buses'....

*snort*

Attending a body corp meeting, saw my neighbour had the box set of "On the Buses" or something similar. Explains a lot.

Now "Bless this House" popped into my head. That 25 year old woman called Sally that was always simpering to daddy and mummy gave me the creeps.
Mebbe it is jest me tho'.
