I heard this was bad for them. What fish are you going to have in this tank? ~Morgan~ |

I feel that it is beneficial to the bacteria colonies and the plants roots by keep a flow of fresh water passing over them, and the maintenance of the tank by pulling particles of of the gravel and putting in the main water so the primary filter can filter them. Usually I use power heads but with the design of this tank power heads create to much current. As to the question, this is planned a safe tank for a group of Galaxies (CDS). The only other fish will be 4 Oto's. and the snails that I can't squash. All plants were selected to give plenty of place for breeding, as well as for any fry to hide.
