She lives in a 40 gallon terrarium, and is a little hammish drama queen. Ive been thinking of getting her a mate. I am sure you Aussies see these guys all the time. They are supposed to be native to Australia and Indonesia. |

They are one of the few species that will stay out in the open and not try to hide all day. If you get a male, though, be prepared for it to start croaking all night when it wants to breed. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

My ACF is lovely and ahs made me love frogs too much!!! ------------------------------------------------- I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions |

Mez Ultimate Fish Guru Asian Hardfeather Enthusiast Posts: 3300 Votes: 162 Registered: 23-Feb-2001 | get 3, or 4 more. they're very social animals. Also, cant really tell from the pics, but they should have quite a tall viv rater than long, as they are, obviously, a tree frog. I dont see any vertically orientated furnishings either? Get some nice driftwood, real plants, a male and a few more females, and rid of all the plastic. She looks in good health! J |

Her cage is a 40 gallon tall so she is able to climb around. I do need to find another peice of wood. I used to have a tall peice of it in there a few eeks ago but I had but a plant in there from our greenhouse and it had bugs and the bugs got in the wood so I had to throw the wood out. And do a complete cleaning of everything. But no more bugs! Thanks for the advice, Im working on it. |

Tall is nicer, but you wouldnt wish to sacrifice the length for height, this would be an equal mistake. Cubic vivaria and tanks with these species are usually better.Should they jump, and bearing in mind that they can even though they dont that often, you dont want frogs crashing into glass, for a species this size and build cubic aquaria are the most practical. |
