My favorite sport is volleyball! It's too bad the U.S. women's team already lost one match.

yah Go carly!!!!!! she crushed everyone and the russian girl was all mad and showing carly that she was a model in a magizine. Carly was like whatever lol. Then the russain girl fell off the uneven bars and thats the end of her career what a way to end it! getting beaten by a 16 year old and falling off your best apparatus.

GO AMIR KHAN!!!

man this kid is good - at the risk of hypin him up like rooney he is good for a 17 yr old. i think he cud take the gold...

i was shocked at seeing usa out of the relay and the basketball - i think performance wise this has to b one of the yanks worst olympics... and the next one aint gonna b easy either!

bit sad for paula radcliff though...

china for me has been the best team this year. bar none. they've improved soo much in 4 years. they threatened to take all of the golds in ping pong. now they've got their first ever golds in track events. it shows how much they invest in their athletes

yeah but if u think about it - similary the american atheletes get sponsorship of large amount if they win a gold too

its just the brits who stay poor

but if ur representing ur country i dont see why u shudnt b awarded in some way...

goin into the beijing olympics a win for the home country will send everyone crazy i think in china. times like that u gotta realise what ur country is offering u.

if amir khan wins gold today in 1/2 an hr i cant see him gettin any cash from the govt or any help to progress his boxing...

most he'll get is a pat on the back and a few interviews.

At the risk of being the oddball, I guess I'm used to it, my favorite Olympic events are the sailing. Just got done watching some womens double handed dinghy and mens windsurfing on Bravo. The US women won that race by quite a bit, but I don't think they will medal. Oh-well. Realy looking forward to the tornado class (catamarans) starting on the 21st.

I'm acctually watching them now (with garten)!
edit: Racso forgot to sign on to his name. Dani wasn't watching the Oylmpics by herself, nor does she talk about herself in 3rd person

Anyway, as I was watching, I was thinking about how there may be some bragging rights from countries winning. What brought it up is Australia's Thorpe beating US's Phelps in a semifinal race, and seeing as how this site is majorty US and Australia, it came to me that there may be some bragging and aurguments from them. I would just like to suggest that no one insult any other country for anything or bragging saying your country is better than another.

Just my two cents.

My travel team could ball with the 2004 dream team. THey could be great if some of the other players wanted to play. Its boring the bums should be embarrased that there not helping. Im mean heck THE REAL player TIM duncan is out there and hes helping. AI needs to break someones ankles to get into a game i mean heck he could leave some of these porta rico player on the butts. I did one of AI moves on my freind he fell down. Thats what AI should do. I know he can bust some And 1 if you've ever seen that he should watch that then test the moves. But im really disapointed with KG hes the MVP he should be out there but instead they have Richard jefferson. I cant believe they didnt want to play if they did they could get some glory and a gold medal to go with it.
also did i menson GO carly! shes doing great. i like her.

by the way i noticed Allen iverson had a new tatoo is this resent??

i like the olympics better when pro's aren't allowed to compete and my favorite sports to watch are gymnastics and diving, although the smaller sprints are cool too (100m, 200m, 400m) and i always like running the relay but watching it isn't quite the same

grrr accidentally deleted my post instead of editing it...silly me

Well I LOVE gymnastics and i like to watch diving too. My favorites are Carly Patterson and Blaine Wilson. Carly nailed all 4 of her routines today and will def. be moving onto the AA finals. Yeah beam was a little low Fish1..but it was enough and thats all that matters now.

A little like 1.5 points low. Too bad courtney fell apart she did a balance check on the beam and it was all down hill from there.

I'm a big fan of the 3DE

Curently, an Aussie is in 3rd place.
