OK as some might know we took our third graders (well, most of them) to the Kemah Boardwalk on Wednesday, we also got to pet stingrays, and see and hear about their big tank (only 11,000 gallons), and the small tank (2500 gallons)...so I've decided to share some photos, any of them with kids you'll have to accept the fact that i've blurred faces...enjoy...hml

What's with the kids, it looks like they all have fungus on they're faces. Or did they get inked by a squid?

As an American teacher better not to show images of the children without the parent's consent online. Some schools have been sued.

Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn.

exactly Koi Keeper, I even blotted out the faces of the adults involved...but, really felt the need to show how much they enjoyed petting the stingrays I wish I could show faces of them, because there is one where some of the kids rode "The Inverter" and the faces of them are priceless...1 child is squeezing eyes tight, another is trying to climb under the child in front, another trying to climb into the seat with the child closing there eyes so tight, one looks like we could see her tonsils she's screaming so loud...I mean the faces are priceless to see...but do to the fact I make little enough money I can't afford to be sued by upset parents for posting their child's pic on the internet...and figured if i gave them the poka dot disease we should be fine, now where is KTS? I hope she got to see them as well, heidi

The truth is that even putting their pictures on the internet, regardless if the faces are blotted, is kinda risky. I'd be a bit wierded out if my teacher decided to put the pictures of me at the Bronx Zoo online and I'm much older than them. I know if someone put a picture of my brother on a message board, I'd be concerned. Besides, the picture doesn't mean anything without the expressions. I know I'm killing your fun, but I just want to look out for you, especially if some of those kids (and their parents) come to this site often.
