That combined with a few good books and online resources is really all you need to become an "expert" at fishkeeping. That said, Tropical Fish Hobbyist (a US magazine) and Practical Fishkeeping (a UK magazine) are both very good publications that tend to be geared towards more advanced hobbyists. You should be able to get both of those in Canada, but I'm not quite sure. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

Posts: 9662 Kudos: 5261 Registered: 16-Sep-2001	I am a big fan of PFK, I find it has less advertising than TFH and seems to be written in a manner that appeals to basic fishkeepers as well as specialists. TFH does often have great articles though I also like FAMA for Gene Lucas' articles, but unless you are interested in bettas that is probably not a great choice.
