On our way out of the Nat. Science museum (yesterday was "Campus Day on the Parkway" - free museum admissions, yay!) we stopped in the gift store - and they had a "Freshwater Tropical Fishes" poster! Soooo cool.

Best part? All the fish are their actual adult sizes. Big Rosey Barb, big P. latipinna and medium-big P. velifera, and of course the dominating Discus pair. Of course, now I need to readjust the other posters on that wall so they don't abut quite as oddly.

Anyone else have a cool fish poster, or several? Post pictures! I know in a forum of fish geeks there are some cool pictures. I managed to leave my Discus poster (the one that was given out in TFH a couple of years ago, with the calendar on the bottom?) at home, so I'm quite bereft!

That's a great poster!

I once got a color-your-own aquarium poster, but I never really made much progress on it. Those things take a long time to finish! (I've done one with cats on a porch which is now on my wall at home, and I've also done a rainforest one, which is in my closet collecting dust back home. But the aquarium one ought to be worked on some... over Christmas and summer... until it is done.

I should also hang up the painting of blue rams that I did in high school. It's not very good, but it's pretty.

Sorry for posting again, but this thread inspired me to get some drawing done. I currently have a little piece of paper with colored pencil drawings on it... so far I have a RTBS, a krib, two cardinal tetras, and some driftwood and rocks for substrate It's like a half sheet of paper and it's green. Any suggestions for what other stuff I can draw on there and make it look pretty? Nothing too hard now. (the krib was a little on the tough side... he's so colorful!) I'm thinking more cardinals, but I don't really want to draw so many cardinals. Not that fun drawing a whole lot of the same fish...

Serpaes? They're be fun to draw. Some Angels? It doesn't have to be stocked like a real tank, you can have weird choices. Maybe a gourami? A betta? Some hatchets? A few danios?

Hey, I have one of those posters! I've had it for a long time, at least since I was five! (1993) I love that poster, it used to be on my wall. Now, I'm sure it's being trucked over by the movers who are two weeks late.

Hey, I have that poster! I posted it at work! I love it. My favorite fishy poster though, has to be one my room mate put up in our hallway, it's a mermaid with red hair, and red koi swimming out of her hair swirling all around her. Gorgeous painting.

I'm so adjective, I verb nouns!
