Last night I had this nightmare, it seemed so real!

Well first off, I dreamed there was a skunk that had crawled onto my chest, then I woke up and found out it was my cat, put her outside my door and tripped over the dog in the process. Then the fishy part comes in. It was Monday already when we're going to be entertaining. The same day, the upper rims on both of my ten gallon tanks came off, and the sides were cracking like crazy! So I was trying to tape the sides together well enough with duct tape that they would hold up while I sped to the store to get new tanks. I guess it seemed so real because I had already dreamed I woke up. But then I woke up again, for real this time...

I have fishy nightmares that involve dead shishies in my tanks or them having massive open oozing sores .

Hi,
Afraid your not the only one. About a week ago my betta -bauer - got ich. I was so worried for my fave fish.
Anyway, went to sleep on the night. I dreamt I had taken bauer out of the tank and was stroking and petting him. I then proceeded to walk back in bed room with the fish in my hand. I then suddenly droped bauer behind my bed.

At this point I woke up, still convinced bauer was behind the bed.] I woke my girlfriend up so I could move the bed to save bauer. So there I was, 3 o clock in the morning moving my bed to save a fish that was really next door safely in his tank.:%)
Oh yeh, I'm crazy

i've had dreams about my fish when they're ill too. It's actually a lot worse to wake up from a nightmare like that and wonder how ill your fish really is than to wake up from something that's scray/threatening but obviously unreal.

I have dreams about my tanks too. Usually when things in my life are going awry and I dream about the tanks leaking or needing constant attention where I fix the prob and it keep recurring over and over.

Once when I really was having filter leaking issues I kept dreaming about it. Prolly 'cause I had limited mobility at the time and it was concerning me how I would tend the tank if it broke while I couldn't lift/bend. That series of dreams was outright concern though no metaphors/symbolism there.
