Janna Mega Fish Posts: 1386 Registered: 24-Aug-2003	Yup, Futurama is the best. That and family guy. They shade the glow of it with their mossy-misty costumes, They wear masks of silk, porcelain, brass, and silver, So as not to mislead with their own, ordinary faces.

Racso Mega Fish Some Assembly Required Posts: 1163 Kudos: 1442 Votes: 35 Registered: 19-Feb-2002	Futurama, Family Guy, and the Simpsons all have the same type of humor, just Futurama does it where the Simpsons couldn't and FG is basically the Simpsons, just each character has different quirks than the Simpsons. All are great though.

While it's funny, the plot is too stereotypical, and the style (especially the flashbacks, which takes up most of the episodes and repetition) doesn't exactly get my hyped up. It definitely good, but not great. Also, I though American Dad was to be hosted on A.S., not Fox?

It was an awesome show, though, and didn't deserve to be cancelled. I think I remember reading that it was getting higher ratings than both King of the Hill and Malcolm in the Middle. Fox said that the the main reason it was cancelled was that it kept getting interrupted by football games (yet another reason why I hate sports]:\|) and it was costing them money. I own the DVDs though, which makes it a little bit better. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

He couldnt stand it anymore, so he found a corner, and started peeing. A robot went up to him, and was like "Your leaking coolant at an alarming rate"

But cartoon network, 11:00 pm - 12:00 am features family guy and futurama back to back, it's the best hour of my day american dad just looks like a total family guy ripoff... look at the way they're drawn, even that looks the same! i'll watch it anyway, who am i kidding... and troy, that's awesome! i had the same idea, but i've been waiting for some sort of crab or shrimp to name zoidberg... *Back in the saddle!*

NowherMan6 Fish Master Posts: 1880 Kudos: 922 Votes: 69 Registered: 21-Jun-2004	i have no doubt it will have its moments. i'm sure it'll be funny. it just strikes me as a little bit of overkill that they're bringing family guy back on the air AND creating a new show that looks just like family guy, and has a similar name and concept to family guy. but hey, who am i to argue with the marketing people at FOX. strike while the iron is hot, etc. , etc.... *Back in the saddle!*
