I've had it on pre-order since september! GTA:Vice City was a fantastic game, one tha you can go back to and still find it enjoyable time and time again, which is very rare in games these days. From what I've seen and read here: [link=http://www.gtawh.com]http://www.gtawh.com" style="COLOR: #FF0000[/link], this is going to be an incredibly good game.

I know I'm going to be shot down here for this but....

I played GTA3 when it finally came out on XBOX and really liked it, I couldn't stop playing it. But after a few hours I realized... It's just so repetitive..... Same kind of thing over and over....

Still... a cool game for sure.

[font color="#000080"]I got my copy first day it was out and have pretty much played it non stop since then. It's a great game with many extra features and a well known cast, Samuel L Jackson performs the voice of a bad cop.

without doubt it's one of the best games to come out on PS2 if not the best.

I wouldn't mind getting this game. Vice City was good, and i expect this one to be better.

Prefer Half Life 2 or Halo 2 though.

Nothing wrong with running random people over in a game.

Shhh! No, it was made in 1999. Maybe so, but it wasn't explicit.

No, Bryant, I am not kidding. In the "uptight 80's", the most violent video game was Mario. There was no market for these games where you go around shooting people and running drugs, because our media hadn't 'glorified' it yet. I'm not saying that people who play the game are psycho, pimply teens who think it's cool to run people down. It's just that there are too many kids playing the game who shouldn't be. Parenting these days is becoming an oxymoron, with the kids getting more and more power in the relationship. Fear for us all.

Yeah sorry i havent been on for a while i have been busy with schoolwork and all those lovely last minute projects the teachers stuff in before the end of the quarter . I see this post has really fired up since i posted it. Like the rated M stamp on front of the box states you have to be 17 to buy the game, i am a 1 & 1/3 years away from buying these myself. This stamp is there because SOME children under 17 are too immature to play it. Same goes for some of the people that are over 17 and too immature to play it. They can still buy it, right? This is where the parents come in, if your parents think you are mature enouph to play rated m games under 17, then so be it. Am i going to go out and do all the stuff they do in video games? NO. This can happen with rated E games that younger children play, say, take Super Mario(great game) for example. Are those kids going to go out and eat red mushrooms in hopes to power up to the next level? Are they going to jump on turtles? Yes, i am aware of the select few that got Games like GTA: Vice City and went out and hijacked cars but they probably have some type of mental problem.

Enouph of defending the game. This game is going to be awesome. You can swim, theres a casino, you can upgrade your cars, you can ride bikes, more polygons on the screen, you can drive 18 wheelers and a whole bunch of other stuff. By the way, a nice intresting tidbit, i was watching tech tv last nite and it said that Mortal Kombat and The GTA series have been the most controversial games in the history of games.

Comments and input greatly welcomed!

The kid games are left out for the kids.

GTA is an awesome game IMO and loads of other peoples but then a lot of people disagree. It like Manhunt, sombody was playing it and decided to kill his friend with a hammer because it was on the game! That is why people dislike the games as they are afraid this will happen but anybody with sense who plays the game should realise it is a game and not real life.

GTA it's one of my fav.games
My son (he is 8 years old) like to play pc/ps2..but he only plays cargames and his fav game is fishing games
All of my games..like wargames (violent games) and so on..i have them in a locked box..so he can not play them.
Keep the violent games away from your children

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.
