My ex husband and his mother are both millionaires (came into money AFTER the divorce... LOL). Anyway, my ex mother-in-law is one of my best friends now, and always buys me such expensive gifts and I never have any clue what to get for her. I make a lot of things, and am an artist (paint, draw, etc.), so last year I dragged her along with me to a bead show. By the end of the show she had bought all these gorgeous beads because she wanted me to make her a bracelet. So, she gave me the idea of making her another bracelet when Christmas came along. She LOVED it! Even with all of her very expensive diamonds and everything else, I was surprised to learn she liked the other look as well. I guess even millionaires have their casual days. LOL! My thought is to take something you are good at, and MAKE a very personalized gift for that particular person. In my experience, people who have everything, or have the ability to have everything, really enjoy things you make from the heart. Remember, more than anything, it is the thought that counts!

Gift certificates to restaurants.. Might have everything, but a free meal always makes you happy, especially if it's a restaurant they love.. I also like to give certificates to restaurants that I know they haven't been to, but would enjoy..

Love.

It really is the one thing that money can't buy.

Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.

Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.
