Lamniforme sharks, for exampl, glide through the water. You can actually watch them change the angle of attack on their pectoral fins to move up or down in the water. Then, of course, some fish are definately swimming, as pointed out by the frantic pectoral fin action of a lot of ray-finned fishes like puffers. |
