	Glide Or Swim

I've often wrestled with this question myself, so I'm curious to see what other aquarists think. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

You can actually watch them change the angle of attack on their pectoral fins to move up or down in the water. Then, of course, some fish are definately swimming, as pointed out by the frantic pectoral fin action of a lot of ray-finned fishes like puffers.

Although as I walk towards my tank on my desk I often think they look like they are flying through the air, suspended. Never ceases to make me think 'huh, so kewl' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~
