My costume:

A big, orange, cardboard piece of cheese with holes in it for my head, arms, and legs....black lipstick, black eye liner, and black nail polish...possibly black hair dye....

I'm going to be a gothic piece of cheese

My Halloween is all planned. Sheila is going as a pink princess. Heidi and Ellen will walk her around Ellen's neighborhood, and I will be giving out whatever candy I don't eat first. ]

Babel,

You are right I did say I had a waxing session. Never said it was my legs thoughLets just say I went Brazilian

Btw it's my birthday today ! I'm 21 again. Seriously. 42 actually so, yes, it's literally my second time for 21 !

So,Babel, be nice to me! If only for today!

My dad has an orange near the door on halloween night to give to the kids just to see the look on their faces

Then he gives them candy.

Babelfish's avatar is scary. Someone should dress as hello kitty.

Oh yeah, now I have 'goblin girl) by Frank Zappa stuck in my head. Thanks alot.

I have a bowl of wrapped lollies waiting

I'm not going all out as its completely the wrong time of year for halloween over here, and well, it seems silly celebrating a seasonal holiday in the wrong season

I'll do Xmas, but thats only because its become tradition, but yet again, the wrong time of year.

Anyway, all the little candyhunters will be well rewarded if they come to my house

LOL Heidi,

Wish my 3rd grade teacher had of been like that (me and my brother grew up on horror films, so you would have been a favourite).

But yes, for the average (read: well adjusted, normal) 3rd grader, a walking corpse is never an overly comforting sight

Spoke to my Dad and my youngest half-brother the other day, sounds like they are getting all psyched up for the 'ween too

That sounds awsome Dex!!!

I'm also in the Houston area...small world isn't it? I like the idea of a dead Grandma and Grandpa greeting people...LOL...

The last few times I've dressed up for school events, I've dressed as a decaying corpse...I even have a pretty good story that goes with it, so it gives me some history and believability in the part...freaks people out...but I won't do it this year for school, I'm now teaching 3rd grade and I don't want to cause any of them trauma...

Heya Heidi,

He lives in Houston

I expect my brother will crack open our "Halloween Box" sometime this week too; a large trunk full of various masks, "body parts", creepy crawlies etc etc

Then there are the 3 dummies, one solid one who usually ends up hanging somewhere, and two lighter built ones we do up as a deceased "Grandpa and Grandma" seated just inside the front door to greet anyone coming over (including the odd trick-or-treater, but down here we are lucky to get 2 a year).

...and all the sugar *drools like a camel eating soap*

*rubs hands together* can't wait

Dex
