I can't wait till July 16!!! I'm ready for the camp out at Barnes & Nobles on the 15th!!! Can't wait, and yes, Babel...Time to begin to reread them all again...seems as though I just finished re-reading them Heidi

oooOOoo I've never done the campout thing, but I was able to read the first page or so of HP4 around 10pm the day before it was set to be released...I was working @target (*gags*) @the time and they were placing them out for the next day .

OK, so who is going to die?

Can't be Harry or voldemort, and its unlikely to be Hermione or Ron, however, its not impossible...

Yeah, in the book it seemed as if he died to suddenly and strangely... I think he'll come back in some way or another.

I have quite a few of the books signed by the author. At least 3, maybe 4. I was much littler at the time, and I drew her a picture of something (can't remember what :%)) when we went to see her. She gave me a big hug and a kiss .

The Harry Potter books are OK. They lack the depth that some of my favorite fantasies have. Other good books you guys would probably like are Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy, the Golden Compass, the Subtle Knife, and the Amber Spyglass. Can't forget the Lord of the Rings books. Those are SO good. They're very different from the movies, so don't let that put you off. I also just finished some of Garth Nix's books, Sabriel, Lirael, and Abhorsen. Let's see.... other good fantasies... Oh! For an easier, but no less enjoyable, read, try the Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer. They're the kind of book you stay up with all night to finish. I met him too. He said I looked like an Irish princess. Probably just because of the red hair, and I'm not Irish! If you haven't read Jacob Have I Loved, by Katherine Paterson, you've GOT to. It is one of my all-time favorite books, even though it isn't a fantasy. I end up crying every time I read it, it's that powerful.

I think it will be Dumbledore, Hagrid, Ron or Hermione. I remember hearing somewhere that it will be a character that everybody loves.

Then again my brother keeps INSISTING that it will be Harry. Where he heard that, I have no clue. Not so sure I believe that one.

Bah.....read Lemony Snickett's books....or Debi Gliori's.

I think it's going to be Neville this time around.. In the last book they seemed to place a bit of emphasis on how Neville and Harry were both born around the same time and how they both fit the description given in prophecy.. Only goes to reason that Voldemort would go after Neville as well, just to cover all his bases..

Maybe it will be Percy.. He seems like a good one to bump off, as his whole family isn't speaking to him.. That would really throw some good guilt around..

I'm also waiting to see if Sirius Black comes back into the story line.. I thought it was strange that Harry spent so much time trying to figure out ways to get in contact with Sirius, but had completely forgotten about the message mirror that Sirius had given him for Christmas.. Maybe it was just something Rowling added to make you feel like it could have been so simple if people just remembered simple things, but it just seemed odd to give Harry a means in which to contact Sirius if he'll never actually get the chance to use it..

Either way, I got an email from Barnes and Noble this morning reminding me that I could pre-order "Half Blood Prince" and I may have to go ahead and bust out the credit card

Lemony Snickett's alright if your in 3rd grade....he just doesn't have the same thing for older readers ( ) that the Rowling, Nix, and Dahl to name a few have.
