I'm trying out a new format for my site to make it easier to navigate, but can't get the borders to turn the right color (right now they're white). Help? Was trying to teach self javascript but gave up as computer refuses to read anything I had to say on the subject of mouseovers, so will stick to HTML for now.
Thanks!

The new layout, complete with ugly white lines that ought to be yellow.

The old layout, in case you think it's better

Thanks!

EDIT: Also, for a while I could keep that scroll bar at the bottom (for the main page) away with a "scrolling right="no" (which I admit I kinda made up, but it worked!) but suddenly the scroll bar is back. Help?

Also, if there's any way to have the bottom righthand bar go across the bottom and eliminate the stupid tiny lefthand bottom corner box (I only put the Aquabid thing in to take up space), that would be GREAT. Thanks.

You don't see white lines between the four sections?

EDIT: Hmmm ... I'm still working on some changes (number of frames required to accomplish goal seems uneccesary, etc) so if page changes, that's why. But I suspect white lines may remain a problem.

See, so it works exactly the way I intended it to, down to the last detail, on your computer (no scrolling except down for the main page, no white lines, everything neat and ordered) but not on mine. Siiiigh.

your right/left scrolling problem can be solved by taking out the parts in your html where it says "server generated this, please remove" at the top and bottom of each page, but especially the main page. then you should only be left with a white line at the bottom between the text and the row of images. here is what i see when i removed the server generated scripts:

Yeah, I'm not sure what the "server generated" stuff is - problem is, it's not actually in my code, it's only when one hits "page source" that it's visible, I guess Yahoo adds stuff. I can live with the scrolling though, I've finally gotten it working the way I wanted. Of course, now I have to implement it (contemplates cost of carpal tunnel surgery) ... over the next few days.

well, i have your page source saved on my computer without the yahoo scripts (which give you those nice ads that take up half the page ). if you want, i can send it to you and you can try putting it over the top of what you've got now

The ad's are usually generated by color tags in HTML.

When you view source the HTML of a persons website, you get the ad, because it is part of the HTML on the website. It is edible to you, but not them.

There is no possible way to remove the ad's without getting in trouble.
