helloeveryone Small Fry Posts: 10 Kudos: 7 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Apr-2006 | Hello Everyone! My name's HelloEveryone! I keep coldwater guppies and goldfish. People say there's no such thing as coldwater guppies, but my lfs had them in the coldwater fish with goldfish and shubunkins. So what does everyone else keep? HelloEveryone. |

They can just take cooler temps into the mid 60's. I believe they come from Mexico and northern South America. Guppies and goldfish dont share the same climate. What is your temperature in your tank? -As for me, i have(in different tanks) Kuhli loaches Batik loaches(Neomacheilus triangularis) Clown loaches Yoyo loaches Angelfish Otocinclus Zebra danios -i also have a buch of plants hornwort rotala crypts swords ferns anubias many others |

Welcome to the Site 10 C is a tad cold for guppies, which is why they're not moving or eating I'd strongly recomend adding a heater & getting your temp up to at least 20 C. Your goldfish will appreciate it too. Myself, i'm down to Bettas & White Clouds at home, but i work at a wholesaler so i get to play with the vast majority of species available over here on a daily basis Sin |

This is the first post of yours I have seen so jumped in to say hi. Sorry to hijack your thread "helloeveryone" - welcome aboard .... I agree with Sin. Get a heater as soon as you can save for one. Cheap to buy a little one. Your little friends will be a whole lot happier. ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |
