Ok, I know the suspense is killing you all:

Myrrh. Yes the stuff of biblical fame. Actually hubby thought it appropriate b/c she says it all the time. Once he pointed it out, it does sound like that's what she's saying.

And nothing to do with plants or fish! Hubby was like, "Anubias? Cabomba? What the @#&* is that?"

Well I liked them.

Aha... I just realized that spelled "Mer", it means "the sea" in French. Perfect.

Although obviously if someone offers you fruit de mer and it has cat in it, send it back, thats just not authentic french cuisine

In a department store/shopping centre/mall near me, there is a big fish tank with the words creme de la mer on it, and i still don't know what they mean...

A play on 'creme de la creme', I guess...still it is wierd.

Octavius would be a really cool cat name. I can picture a large fluffy male cat named Octavius.
