Last summer I got married and we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. We stayed on Kauai and Oahu, and while on Oahu I just had to visit "Hawaii Shark Adventures." All my life I'd wanted to go down into a shark cage, and I did it!! It was the most exhilarating thing I've ever done in my life, so far.

They were Galapagos sharks, about 6-8 feet long. Not really maneaters, but curious enough that they could hurt you if you were in the water without the cage.

When I saw them approaching the boat my heart started beating so fast... I couldn't wait to get into the water.

Under the water they were so graceful and beautiful...

We even had a great show of them feeding at the surface...

Congrats on the marriage, Hawaii, & the shark cage!

That wouldn't have been my choice for something to do, but bet it WAS exciting!

That's about the prettiest blue water I've ever seen!

Yep those are my pics!! We bought a waterproof case for our digital camera.

The water was so perfectly clear. They have boats here off Montauk, which is on the furthest east end of Long Island, and up in the Rhode Island/Connecticut area... but the water is too murky for them to guarantee a sighting. If I'm going to pay all that money, I want to see some sharks!!

P.S. Thanks on the congrats, Patty.
