We stayed on Kauai and Oahu, and while on Oahu I just had to visit "Hawaii Shark Adventures." All my life I'd wanted to go down into a shark cage, and I did it!! It was the most exhilarating thing I've ever done in my life, so far. They were Galapagos sharks, about 6-8 feet long. Not really maneaters, but curious enough that they could hurt you if you were in the water without the cage. When I saw them approaching the boat my heart started beating so fast... I couldn't wait to get into the water. http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0638.jpg Under the water they were so graceful and beautiful... http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0677.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0675.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0668.jpg http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0656.jpg We even had a great show of them feeding at the surface... http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k16/PanClan06/IMG_0642.jpg Our tank: 45 gallons 7x Cardinal Tetras 7x Black Neon Tetras 7x Glowlight Tetras 2x Ottos 2x Ghost Shrimp 3x Spotted Corys 3x Panda Corys |

They have boats here off Montauk, which is on the furthest east end of Long Island, and up in the Rhode Island/Connecticut area... but the water is too murky for them to guarantee a sighting. If I'm going to pay all that money, I want to see some sharks!! P.S. Thanks on the congrats, Patty.
