I started in 1978 with 2 Six footer's , I even discovered some photos the other day .
Not very good photos mind . Heres one with a few Angels, a Pearl, a Kisser and a Ram.
Obviously my tastes haven't changed all that much.

Ive been keeping fish since I was 10. Thats 13 years now. But I didn't enjoy the hobby as much as I do now until after I found this site. I thought I knew alot before I came here, but I was so in the dark it wasn't even funny. lol

Had a tank for a few months as a teenager, but it was a disaster and I gave up.

Tried again back in October 2000 and made all the usual newbie mistakes (no cycle, overstocked, inappropriate fish etc) due to inadequate research but persevered until I'd worked out or been told the right things to do.

Mature, sensible signature required for responsible position. Good prospects for the right candidate. Apply within.

my dad bred show-standard koi, so i grew up with fish - my first goldfish in a two-foot tank were my 4th birthday present, tropicals a year later. i have always had fish since, including a heavenly two years in malaysia where i kept all my fish outdoors in ponds - gotta love the tropics! did discus for a while, now i keep heavily planted south american tanks- usual set up is one or two large schools of tetras, school of corys, feature pair of apistos, royal whiptails in each tank (cos they have to be the spunkiest fish ever) and a couple of exotics like splash tetras or hatchets. so, 32 years of fish.

Got my first 10 gal tank when I was 9 (34 years ago). Buy the time I was 12, I had 6 tanks ranging from 10-29 gals, and was breeding regularly angels, convicts, and jack dempsys. And was selling them back to the lfs.
