Hey Every1...

Im new to FP...

man...ur profile section is massive...

my name is mina, the "gypo" part of my nickname is an abbreviation for the fact that im egyptian...lol..and cichlid is pretty self-explanitory...

I mostly keep africans cichlids, these include:

Venustus,Red Empress, Red Jewel, African Butterflys, Auratus, Johanni, Lombardoi, Greshakei, Albino Zebra, Cobalt Blue Zebra, Kribensis and 3 Bristlenose for good measure

I also have some New World Cichlids:

Texas, Green Terror, Hartwegi and Oscar

Says who? Don't listen to them Gypo, as you can never have too many! There is always one more space around that you could fit another tank into, or a pre-existing tank, that could be turned so as to add another next to it. LOL.

And as said above you can never have too many tanks, and they can never be too big!!! But watch it this can become a very addictive hobby

I just found out that I can fit another 4 tier stand beside my bed for 20 gallon tanks and if i throw out the couch there is more room Really you will never have too many tanks :%)heidi:%)

Hello GypoCichlid. A belated welcome.

Judging by the list of fish you posted above, you're already well on the way toward becoming a serious MTS (Multiple Tank Syndrome) patient. Rejoice in this, and accept the custard pies winging your way as part of your initiation from the other MTS sufferers on the Board

As well as enjoying the more serious side of the Board, such as the multiplicity of profiles, the various specialist forums (I suspect you'll be diving head-first into the Cichlid forums in pretty short order), don't be in the least afraid to take part in the sometimes offbeat humour that circulates on this Board too. You'll find that quite a few of the 'funnies' are self-inflicted - always the sign of a happy home

Oh, and at the earliest opportunity, we'd all like to see pics of your beloved Cichlids in the Photo Booth. As you have both AFricans and CA/SA Cichlids, you'll have a lot of interesting subjects to wow your new-found audience with!
