Cavey Fish Guru Posts: 2193 Kudos: 198 Votes: 0 Registered: 04-Feb-2001 | Hi all, Good to see some familiar faces still around the traps. Well after quite a few years of not keeping fish, I have just bought a 175 Gallon tank. I will be putting a pair of Madagascar Cichlids. I will be asking plenty of questions around the place, as I need to refresh my mind on the whole fish keeping thing. Adam the place is looking good....sounds like you guys have moved away from the North Side??? Great to be back! |

That's one of the few cichlids species that I'd consider owning, for no particular reason other than they look so sweet. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

Cavey Fish Guru Posts: 2193 Kudos: 198 Votes: 0 Registered: 04-Feb-2001 | hi Callatya and Matt! Good to see you guys again. Well I have now set the new tank up, seeded by using filter, water, gravel from another tank that has been running for ages. I have placed a handful of smaller fish in there, lets see how the cycle goes! Hopefully will have it right in the next couple of weeks, to place the big guys in! |
