My Bro and Bro's Wifey who live near Calgary have just had twin baby girls!

I wonder if their heads will flap like the Canadians on South Park?

Anyway this isn't as exciting as some FishProfilians who've given birth to their own little fry recently, but it is a big deal to me. Bro and his Wifey have had a lot of challenges in their lives and these babies are a triumph of will, love and medical science against all the odds.

Welcome to the world, babies!

Piccies will follow as soon as possible

I made that post immediately after Bro called on his mobile phone from the hospital so he hadn't had time to take pics yet (actually in the rush he'd forgotten to take his camera with him ).

Wifey had a caesar so they might be in there for a while, but the babies are big and healthy. They went full-term, which is pretty good for twins.

I'm a bit sad I missed out on being there for the birth, but glad the babies had all that extra time in utero. We were thinking they'd be born when I was there in early september so they've had more than a month to grow bigger and healthier.
