Joe Potato Fish Addict Kind of a Big Deal Posts: 869 Votes: 309 Registered: 09-Jan-2001 | Yeah, it's a shame. Some of those WCMMs were getting near 4 years old. Sigh. On the huge plus side, the betta and the pygmy cories are doing just fine. In fact, I missed one when I was netting the small tank (you try catching little catfish in a dark tank! ). The tank is heating up nicely and I'll probably put them back in around an hour or so from now. We have power back, but I'm not sure if it'll last the night. It's been flickering on and off. Everyone, thanks for your kind words. I'll probably be looking for suggestions as to what to put in it, if I do decide to set it up again. |

For everyone else that might have these kinds of issues, try looking in the roofing section of Home Depot (lowes or your friendly local hardware store may also have it, I just know they were in HD) you should be able to find a 6 (or 8 ) pack of long styro sheets that are about 3/4" thick. I kept them on three sides of my tank in winter, just in case. It might not save all, or it might not do anything, but considering how cheap I remember them being it might be a good investment. ^_^ |
