Iam very interested in those odd fish spieces.
These are my fav:
1) Black ghost knifefish
2) Tiger striped catfish
3) Dragon fish
4) Blue spotted sunfish
5) Dragon goby
So if you managed to get a 190g tank what fish would you have in it?

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

When you say Tiger Striped Catfish, if you mean Tiger Shovelnose, then it's gonna outgrow it.:%) Although the 190 gallon is a good lower size for an adult Tigrinus Catfish. That'd definitely be frickin' awesome to have...

I would go predatory. Tigrinus, Bichir, Stingray, Datnoid, perhaps an Arowana... Wait a sec, that 190 gallon is starting to sound quite tiny for what I want...

It's not really strange fish, but I would go with Angels, and Corries, or Goldfish...that or of course you could start with 3 female guppies and 1 male and let them do the job...and see how long it takes them to outgrow the tank, or shall we say overstock the tank...

Although it's not on the list, I'd say stingrays. A pair/trio of reticts/hysterixs would fit quite happily.

That would definitely become home to a puffer. Probably a fahaka, maybe a salty puff, but not sure.

There are several options I could go with here.

Option 1 : A giant sized version of the infamous Panda Fun Palace™, with about 40 Padnas in it, as well as substantial Characin shoals (probably 30 each of Cardinals, Lemons and Rosies).

Option 2 : Breeding pair of big, mean Cichlids such as Green Terrors (that jade green colour I have a soft spot for) or Guapotes such as Jaguars (which again I have a soft spot for because of all the anecdotes I've heard about their larger than life personalities!).

Option 3 : Brackish tank with Archer Fishes, complete with a 'gunnery range' where I can let them shoot down beetles and assorted houseflies

Option 4 : Brackish tank with Mudskippers and Fiddler Crabs.

Option 5 : Mixed Apistogramma Dwarf Cichlids (190 gallons should be enough to provide space for a nice selection).

Option 6 : Big chunky armoured Doradid catfish such as Megalodoras irwini. Basically because having a fish that I've already billed in an earlier article as "The M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank of the aquarium" appeals to my offbeat tastes

Option 7 : Shoal of Denison's Barbs and some suitably size catfish to go with them (Raphaels perhaps?). 190 gallons should be enough to let me have a decent shoal of Denison's, always assuming I could afford them of course!

Option 8 : Some L-Number Plecs. With deliberate emphasis on wacky and unusual ones that hardly anyone else has even heard of, let alone kept.

Option 9 : Rift Lake aquarium with those gorgeous Paracyprichromis nigripinnis fishes that I was introduced to in the chat room! Not sure what else I'd keep with them, but doubtless some ideas would arise if the project ever became a reality!

Option 10 : SW setup with Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis wrasses, Flame Angel (or some other Centropyge, because among the marine fishes, that Genus really rocks my boat) and Nemateleotris decora, the Purple Fireflash Goby. I'd also want a Marine Betta in there because I think those guys rock!

This should provide sufficient food for thought for anyone reading this post, and also give more of an insight into the workings of my fishkeeping mind than may be prudent to reveal in a public forum
