wow, i have found and feed to the fish, 2 silver fish (bugs) in the past 3 days, in MY ROOM....

the thing that bothers me is that my room was completely broken down and 100% cleaned- redid about 6 months ago.

i believe that i have to take some of the fish tanks out of my room. there are 7 in my room and fish stuff, so i think that they could be eatting fallen food in the carpet.

what should i do, and any info on silver fish and how to get them out.

Silverfish and their relatives the Jumping Bristletails eat mainly carbohydrate-rich foods, so if there's food in your carpet (particularly bread products), that's what they're eating.

Don't eat in your room and they'll go away.

Alternatively, cultivate them and have fun feeding them to any big Cichlids in your collection.

TFH had an article way back in the 70s on cultivating cockroaches for the same purpose. If you don't mind handling such creatures, and don't mind being up close and personal with a group of animals that most people regard with utter revulsion, then their utility value as crunchy treats for Oscars, big Jags and the like is immense.

Hate bugs!! dont think i could ever touch them!!
i have noticed a few small cockroaches living in the edge of the glass lids just under the hood...

make sure before you feed anything to your fish that there is definately no trace of insect sprays or pesticides.

get a cat = no more bugs

At least thats how it worked for me. That cat has taken care of many a bug, and had a grand ol' time doing it to.
