Insect Problem | |
bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | wow, i have found and feed to the fish, 2 silver fish (bugs) in the past 3 days, in MY ROOM.... the thing that bothers me is that my room was completely broken down and 100% cleaned- redid about 6 months ago. i believe that i have to take some of the fish tanks out of my room. there are 7 in my room and fish stuff, so i think that they could be eatting fallen food in the carpet. what should i do, and any info on silver fish and how to get them out. |

Don't eat in your room and they'll go away. I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

TFH had an article way back in the 70s on cultivating cockroaches for the same purpose. If you don't mind handling such creatures, and don't mind being up close and personal with a group of animals that most people regard with utter revulsion, then their utility value as crunchy treats for Oscars, big Jags and the like is immense. |

carpe_diem Fish Addict *Dreamer* Posts: 555 Kudos: 292 Votes: 51 Registered: 18-Apr-2004 | Hate bugs!! dont think i could ever touch them!! i have noticed a few small cockroaches living in the edge of the glass lids just under the hood... make sure before you feed anything to your fish that there is definately no trace of insect sprays or pesticides. |
