Hi guys,
Thought I should introduce myself after all the help you have given me.
My family and I live in Ontario, Canada. My wife and I have two boys (5 and 2) 2 Labrador Retrievers, 1 Cat, 3 aquariums, and 10 fish!
I am a partner in a construction company that specializes in high end renovations, new builds, and anything else we can make money at. I have a Bachelor in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo with a specialty in Urban and Regional Planning.
My wife is currently 1/2 way through teacher's college at the University of Western Ontario. She graduated from University of Guelph with a degree in wildlife biology, and then went on to get a diploma in veterinary technology. She definately the smarter one!
We are new to fishkeeping, however, I have always wanted a tank... from a young age. Money just never seemed to be available. I am so happy to have this hobby. It definately seems to relax me, and envigorate the mind. I love just puttering and tinkering, so it seems to be a perfect fit!
My boys really love the tanks, and didn't seem very heartbroken when most of the fish didn't make it through the great ich outbreak of 2007!
Other interests are Music, technology, cars, architecture, reading, anything outdoors!
Well, enough blathering!
If anyone has any building related questions, or terrestrial veterinary questions, just ask away!
Cheers!
Dan Sageman

Wow, more environmental/wildlife people! I just graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Wildlife Science myself (basically a combination of wildlife biology and wildlife management)!

I know you've been around for a little while already, but I think we'll give you a proper FP welcome

Hi there! Always nice to see another Canadian. I'm from the we(s)t coast, Victoria, specifically. My boys are 9 and 6. I'm fairly new to the site too, and just love it here! So many friendly, helpful people.

I vote! Do you?
