	Know anything about shoulder injuries?
tribblehappy Enthusiast Posts: 221 Kudos: 283 Votes: 41 Registered: 23-Jun-2003	I injured my shoulder during a sparring class on Friday (during the warmups no less... Breakfalls... GRRR) and finally went to see the doc today... He said it's probably an "AC strain" but it could be a mild seperation... Sent me for some X-rays. I looked up "AC strain" and it's a ligament thingy... So, does anyone know how long these things take to heal? I wanna go back to class... Stupid shoulder... I'm so adjective, I verb nouns!

tiny_clanger Fish Guru Posts: 2563 Kudos: 571 Votes: 12 Registered: 17-Sep-2002	hmmm - as with all ligament injuries, take it slow, mauybe think about seeing a physiotherapist for info about healing. Eat healthily and try and eat lots of protein - esp. chicken. The protein helps muscles and ligaments to heal more quickly ------------------------------------------------- I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions
