yup you got it shearonlynn, you could even go so far as to associate

digging which is what a grave digger is doing with
"these hands are small I know
they aren't your's they are my own"

since hands are needed for digging

very tricksy Springtime....it can be as deep or not deep as you want (no...not a ref to graves )

Can you make it shallow
so
that
I

Babel...do you mean something like this...associating with the word 'grave' in your lyric.

"She walks these hills in a long black veil, she visits my grave, when the night winds wail."

So now someone would associate with this lyric..."hills" or "veil" or "grave" or "winds"...is that what you are talking about?

Help me, I'm so confused!

In the spirit of the now long lost word association thread, and faster and more entertaining than the movie]http://www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/thread.asp?id=28338[/link] or [link=song guessing threads....

Your friendly Babelfish brings you Lyric Association 2004

Here's how to join in the fun

1). Associate preaviously given song lyrics with a new one, give name and artist, or make others guess...you're choice

2). Association can be made thru band members, words of the song or just about anything else...just let us know what the link is

3). Keep the song lyrics clean ... we all know how important it is to keep this site open and friendly to all ...

4). And don't join if you're gonna complain about "threads that will not die"

[hr width='40%']

I'll start things off with....

"I live on the corner of gray street
and the end of the world"

links to

'Grave digger,
when you dig my grave.
Can you make it shallow
so
that
I
may
feel
the rain"

Thru artist...DMB is the first band..and the second is from Dave's solo album.....

Let the Fun Begin

^_^

The movie's over, it's 4-oclock
and were in trouble deep"

to:

"He's a bird-dog"

Connection is the group (Everly Brothers)
