It is from a place which is the best so I would say that it could be which ever is the better one to have. It is all Asus other stuff as well. I am not wanting to play games regularly but just in case I want too. Thanks for the help tho. I am still none the wiser! |

Number 2 may have some instability due to cooling problems unless it is very well ventilated, it will also be a pig in terms of battery life. Is the 9600 integrated, mobility or other? The mobility Radeons are slightly better. ------------------------------------------------- I like to think that whoever designed marine life was thinking of it as basically an entertainment medium. That would explain some of the things down there, some of the unearthly biological contraptions |

Generally though, unless you're concerned about battery life - i would recommend going up to a 64bit processor ![]() I've got an Nvidia geforce togo video card - play the sims with maxed out settings as well as NFS6 running with high settings also. Performance wise, i've never had any better. Granted I know little about computers compared to alot of people here - but I've been using laptops for quite a few years now. BTW - check out the widescreens ![]() ![]() |

I was thinking of that just in case I want to play games as it has a dedicated graphics card. Now I am trying to find which is faster but can't seem to find anything on the web that will help me. Which is faster? |

I myself have a compaq presario with an AMD64 1.8ghz processor with 512mb ram (upgradeable to 1025mb), 40gb hd, DVD/CD-RW. Not top of the line, but alot more game friendly than the centrino / mobile processors |
