Learner's permits | |
truestar Enthusiast Young Pup Posts: 233 Kudos: 92 Votes: 147 Registered: 23-Aug-2007 | Does anyone know how old you must be to get a learner's permit in Indiana? I should know this since I live here, but I've heard conflicting answers. I've heard people say that you must be 16 1 month and 1 day, but I read online that it's just 16. It's not a huge deal, but I'll be turning 16 in a little over a month, and if I could get my permit then that would be awesome. Any info would be appreciated. |

It was $200 for me to take drivers ed, but it saves me just under $100 every 6 months because I took it. It'll probably depend on your insurance company and on state laws/regulations, but you'll probably save a decent bit by taking drivers ed... Either way, have fun, but don't run anyone over or hit any cars/trees/poles/signs |
