Neons are frickin' awesome. I plan to someday go back to them. I may love my rare fish, but none of them have neon colorations quite like, well, neon tetras!

I'm really trying to think of a fish that I hate... But I can't think of any.

Right I have changed it slightly. I thought about this just as i hit Post. I dont "hate" any fish, hope the new topic is less offensive. Sorry all.

I do think Neons are pretty, but the ones in the works tank dont seem to do much, they always just hang out behind the plants.

Ah - but how many are there? Get a big group in a well-planted tank where they can feel secure and that won't be any kind of problem. It's not their fault if they're scared! I'd be, too, if I were a thousanth the size of all the people walking around shaking the earth.

Least favorite fish - hard to say. Ummm, I don't know, I'm not a huge fan of Piranha.

Can't say that there are any fish that I don't really like. There are probably some that I wouldn't ever attempt to keep in aquaria that are sometimes available such as electric catfish, but that's just a personal decision and not saying they shouldn't be by those that want to, provided they can meet the necessary requirements of that particular fish.

Least fav fish?

I'd have to say guppies. My problem with them is A. They are too common for my taste. B. To keep them normally means your going to have 8 tanks in your bedroom full of them, taking away valuable real-estate that could be used to house more interesting fish..

Least favorite "Aquarium" fish would probably be guppys (for the same aforementioned reasons) and any kind of "-skirted" tetra. they just don't do anything for me

As for least favorite fish in general... well, that distinction belongs to a saltwater fish. I don't know what their exact name is, but in New Jersey we call them "conger eels" even though they're not real conger eels(they may be called Ocean Pout, I'm not sure...). They live in deep water and when you catch them they have a fantastic habit of wrapping their bodies around your arm, then slicing into your arm with the bone that runs along their back. Tons of fun, these guys are....

Myself I cannot understand the point in Neon Tetras. Nice as they look.

i hate no fish, but i dislike tiger barbs.

piranhas (sp?), I know people like them, but I can't see why.

knifefish, arrowannas, and most big eye ugly deep sea fish as stunning and intresting as they are....THEY ARE UUUGGGLLLLYYYYYY.





I dont hate these just wouldn't keep them...

Djtj - I was wondering if anyone else had experience with them. Glad to see I'm not alone

But p.s. - A full grown nurse shark wouldn't be able to take a bath in 1000 gallons, let alone live it's natural life. I've seen them as big as 7-8 feet (I'm sure they grow bigger in the wild), and they're quite big girth wise as well. I can't believe they'd be sold as pets...

I love all fish, I don't understand how anyone can atually dislike fish. I don't dislike fish because they are being sold to people and they will get to big, that doesn't mean you can't like them. The fish I least like are angler fish, with the big light bulbs coming out of their head, they are so disgusting looking. It is mean how they attract fish and them eat them!Like in finding nemo, his mum gets eaten by an angler fish.

I do not hate them but blood parrots are my least favorite followed by flowerhorns.

The mom (Coral) in finding Nemo was eaten by some kind of Barracuda-ish fish. No one was eaten by an Anglerfish, though one tried to eat Dory and Marlin.

Er. I've watched that movie too many times.
