Who's watching it?

Anyone wanting to talk about it? If you get into some spoiler info please start a new thread and put "spoiler" in the subject line so people can avoid learning what happens if they want. I'd rather be surprised weekly - that's half the fun.

Speculation is welcome.

My mother, who lives with me, is getting so impatient at how they string you along for such a long time. I told her that is the best part and that is what brings me back each week. If they let the cat out of the bag early on, there'd be no point in looking forward to Wednesdays

Has Locke been using that paste on everyone he puts into those experiences? I can't remember.

Yep...

My dad and brother don't like the show because they "can never tell what's real and what's not" ... That's part of why I like it.

I knew the Boone thing was a hallucination the whole time.. They can't kill too many characters off if they want to keep the show around for more than 1 season.

I really enjoy the format of the flashbacks, to get to know the story of each character. I don't think Locke was using that stuff on anyone else, but who knows?

I really like Alias and you can tell that this show is from the same creator. Problem with Alias is that if you miss one show, you're entirely lost.

Interesting question. They first saw its wrath on that pilot in the first show. Remember, he landed in a tree half eaten.

But it would be interesting if the whole damn thing is a hallucination

That metal plate with a hatch is driving me nuts. But I guess that is the good part, the anticipation.

I have not watched Alias. I don't get much opportunity to watch that much, so I need to be selective.

I really like that new Medical Investigators show on Fridays. That's really good - CSI like. I only watch the original CSI. I can't get into the spinoffs.

Been watching it since it started.....reminds me of "Twin Peaks" and "Millenium". The hatch is driving my curiosity overtime.

That's the fun part I think.

I guess the script is locked up very tight with only a handful of people knowing what is really going on. Some theorize that they are all dead and living in a purgatory like state where they must reconcile with things. This is one theory because of the fact that Locke no longer requires his wheel chair, among many other wierd things.

But, it is likely to go on for years without revealing its true nature. I was talking to my sister about the chubby guy (can't recall his name). I was wondering whether they had agreement from him to lose weight during the program to reflect what little food they have and the lack of simple carbs. She said that it is being shot in real time and that rumor has it, we will see him shed pounds over time.

Anyway, this is all speculation and guessing. The critics have made several alternative guesses besides the purgatory theory as well. I don't know what they are yet, but I like how it gets the imagination running. Its like old TV reborn again.
