i'm interested in the ferret although I dont know my parents will go for the idea, you have to make it sounds like you are really desperate first. Where do you live?

FerretFanatic: Well do you already own a ferret, and have a good income "these buggars are expensive". Cause he absolutly has to go to a home that has another ferret.

I'm in Maryland.

Well, I'd take the ferret - but I live in TX, and already have two of the boogers

I hope you find a home for him soon.

In fact - if you've not heard of the site before, http://www.ferretstoreforums.com/ - go there and post - I know there are alot of people in that general area...

Yes I already have a ferret, and I'm well aware of their expenses . But I'm on Long Island so it might be too far. But let me know if you cannot find another home for him and then maybe I could arrange something with the parentals.

FerretFanatic: I have arranged transport before, so it's not something which would be impossible

Let me know if there is any other details you would like to know about him.

As of right now he seems like an adorable little guy, can you post pics? Let me know if you are really in a jam, my parents dont really want another ferret in the house but might extend some sympathy if lets say you are moving and cant have the animal with you, and really need a good home for him. If you cant find anybody else able to take him I COULD possibly be a candidate. I'm sure my little girl would love a playmate, we travel frequently (but someone always comes to watch the animals, or my mom stays home b/c of work) and I'm sure if she had someone to keep her company she wouldnt get too upset while were gone. Of course I try to take her with me but sometimes its out of the question.

EDIT: if you still need a home for alshin, I know a family who might be willing to take him in, they also live on Long Island and have four other cats, plus a 90 gallon reef tank and a 25 gallon reef tank which are both amazing. Let me know
